02_What to Expect in the End Times, Premium Content

Have you put the pieces together yet? Over the last several decades, China has bought (controls) enough decision makers in politics; entertainment; media; sports; medicine; science; finance; and education, that, together, they have manufactured enough mass-scare events to condition the country (world) to accept with increasing intensity the control and moral confusion of C0mmunism. The American taxpayer is the global cash cow, and Congress diverts trillions of our money to payoffs. China has succeeded where the Soviet Union never could: they have succeeded in taking over the country without firing a shot.

Maybe you think it’s all fine. Your choice. Jesus said discern the times, and there is enough information to reveal the big picture, now, although you have to look for it.

So now what?

You know that feeling you’ve had for about a month, that *something big is coming*? That foreboding, anxiety, and unexplainable – dare I say – weird excitement? Yeah, me too. I believe God is about to do something apocalyptic, something wondrous, something on the scale of the Illumination of Conscience, in which the whole world is affected. What is it? I don’t know, I only know something is coming. The daily readings have been full of this.

I haven’t talked to anyone who knows what to “do.” I, personally, have only been told “PREACH.” So I think we have to wait for instructions from the Holy Spirit. But get ready. Go to Confession and receive the sacraments as often as possible. Continue working deeply with the Holy Spirit on forgiveness and healing. LOVE the Word daily. Serve one another, and pray without ceasing.

Apologies: Video is unavailable until I can stabilize my internet for uploading. Should be next week.

LOVE the Word® is a Bible study method based on Mary’s own practice: lectio without the Latin. Get the book based on Sonja’s method in the right margin, How to Pray Like Mary.

Listen (Receive the Word via audio.)

“Do this because you know the time; it is the hour now for you to awake from sleep. For our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed; the night is advanced, the day is at hand. Let us then throw off the works of darkness [and] put on the armor of light” (Rom 13:11-14, from 1.17.21 morning readings).

“Everything that becomes visible is light. Therefore, it says: ‘Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.’ Watch carefully then how you live, not as foolish persons but as wise” (Eph 5:14-15, from 1.18.21 morning readings).

Observe (Connect the passage to your life and recent events.)

What is the “armor of light” spoken of in this week’s Sunday reading? What is He asking of you?

Verbalize (Pray about your thoughts and emotions.)

Remembering that He loves you and that you are in His presence, talk to God about the particulars of your O – Observe step. You may want to write your reflections in your LOVE the Word® journal. Or, get a free journal page and guide in the right-hand margin.

Entrust (May it be done to me according to your word!)

Jesus, I trust in You! Amen +

Sonja’s Important Eschatological Qualification

Catholic eschatology is what’s called “speculative theology.” This designation means little has been defined by the Magisterium concerning the end times, so the subject is open for speculation and development by Catholics seeking truth via Sacred Tradition (history) and Sacred Scripture. I attempt throughout the series to make clear what is public revelation and therefore part of the Deposit of Faith, and what is approved private revelation and not a matter of adherence.

Dr. Scott Hahn most recently put forth the liturgical and historical interpretation of the Book of Revelation without alleging that there is no end times application. Many non-Catholics hold to either this interpretation or an eschatological interpretation; the Church maintains that the proper interpretation is not either history or prophecy, but both history and prophecy, as biblical prophecy and apocalyptic literature always is: there is usually more than one fulfillment of prophecy.

Because much of eschatology is a matter of speculative theology, we are free to ruminate and speculate.

Revelation 1:11, 17-19, Jesus is the Alpha and Omega; Α Ω; protos and eschatos

Daniel 2:33 & 41-45, There will be a last “Holy Roman Empire” (which we have not seen yet).

Matthew 24:14, the “Little Apocalypse”: the gospel will be preached throughout the world until the “fullness of the Gentiles” has been reached, from Muslim, atheism, and other religions (Rom 11:25).

Romans 9-11, Israel accepts Jesus as their Messiah

Romans 11:12, the full number of the gentiles and the full inclusion of the Jews in salvation will enable the people of God to reach the “measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” in which God will be “all in all” (Eph 4:13; 1 Cor 15:27-28; CCC 674)

Revelation 13, Daniel 7-8, 2 Thess 2, The final trial, a Major Chastisement or Great Tribulation, constituted by a religious deception involving a social justice humanitarianism, or  secular utopianism. At this time the last Holy Roman Empire will be divided into “ten kingdoms,” and dismantled by a great, evil military and political leader. Three of the ten “kingdoms” will not go along with it, and will be crushed.
