Warning! This show is so hot it about burned down my office!

O Clavis David: O Key of David, O royal Power of Israel controlling at your will the gate of Heaven: Come, break down the prison walls of death for those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death; and lead your captive people into freedom. Isaiah prophesied, “I will place the Key of the House of David on His shoulder; when he opens, no one will shut, when he shuts, no one will open” (Isaiah 22:22); and “His dominion is vast and forever peaceful, from David’s throne, and over His kingdom, which he confirms and sustains by judgment and justice, both now and forever” (Isaiah 9:6).

  1. What can the door be? How do I find the door I need to open for Him? I know something is up or happening. I just don’t know what! The darkness is surrounding once again, that old familiar, thoughts and sense, feelings. In the past I yelled & moved around more. Now I am not I am still so still and not letting much out. I want to scream but don’t. Like I am scared too. It’s been really tough. Sometimes I am so high (not on drugs high) and other times really down low. Sometimes I feel just so tired really tired physically spiritually and emotionally. Even writing this out pains me makes me feel like you’re all going to think I’m crazy or feel sorry for me. I do want to let you know I don’t stop prayer time with Him in the daily mass reading and I am always trying to figure out what His will is for me for the day or my life situation. It’s been clear lately,it’s this past week has been so hard. I quit smoking cigarettes on November 6th though tonight I did smoke😒. I am on the 12th day of doing the consecration to Jesus through Joseph. My husband and I are always on and off fighting. And yes we got into it this week😔. Can you give examples to what those doors might be? Thanks and please pray for me and my family.I will pray for you as well.🙏

    1. Most of us Christians are searching for the Keys to heaven. I’m not sure I’ve found them, but I look for clues left behind in the Bible. Although I’m a lifelong Catholic (parochial school), I can’t say I’m any closer to that goal. It does seem that with age, one gains new insight into Mass readings +homilies. Maybe greater years/experience = greater perspective? Perhaps a view we look to is the Holy Family. In our own family, life functions best when we all do our part to help support the whole. Of course, each of us has a talent- skill, or that which we do best. I think🤔our life’s purpose is to discover/develop our talents and use them to help each other in life. The idea is by sharing our God-given talents, we can pay it forward, just like the saints did. We can work to help one another into heaven. That could be a Key🔑within our reach.
We all can relate to your feelings, dear! I struggle with them too.
As 2020 draws to a close, we look back on a year of stress +uncertainty. Who knows what follows?. I’m SO grateful God helps my family survive hardships, i.e.sickness, death, separation.
I will praise your name forever, my King + my God!

        1. Yes, I was asking you, but I added your question to the FB group. You got some interesting answers: the open door is surrender, the open door might also be forgiveness…

  2. You’re absolutely right it’s both of those. Surrender and forgiveness. And today’s Gospel reading this is what came up for me. So what popped right when I was first reading it was “Do you believe that I can do this?” Of course I said it several times. He’s saying it to me! As I kept reading the other parts that popped out was “let it be done for you according to your faith” the word according pop. So I looked at that word the meaning . And the meaning was as stated by or in, depending on weather. Then I asked myself depending on whether what? And I kept reading and this stood out Jesus warned them sternly see that no one knows about this but they went out and spread word of him through all the land. So then this is the conversation I had with Him.
Okay both of these men were blind and they had already heard of all the Miracles you had done so when you ask them do you believe I can do this they said yes Lord we believe they believed because their friend down two cities was cured by you and he is now walking in your click. So they knew that you were capable of opening their eyes, they knew you could heal but did they believe all the the other things you were saying not just the miracles. And you told them let it be done to you according to your faith. According to their faith? So faith is something that I cannot acquire on my own it is a gift a gift from God to me. Why did these men not listen to Him and he warned them sternly not to go out and tell anyone and it’s the first thing they did why because it was given to them according to their faith. They believed in the Miracles in the healing but not everything he was professing! Then it hit me am I like these blind men. It has been done to me (according to my faith?) My faith that I cannot acquire on my own but it’s a gift from you God what is it? did I not receive it in it’s full totality? Or even worse you handed me the gift and I put it down and didn’t even open it, it’s been months and years and I haven’t even unwrapped it? He asked again do you believe I can do this? ( the do this is what he is trying to work in my life) Yes Lord I know you can do this for you are the Lord of The Impossible and I even say your word back to you but with man nothing is possible so that’s me but you are the God of the impossible and then you remind me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. So now I have to open the gift and unwrap it! You see I was stuck He had given me the gift but I never unwrapped it! So when I close my eyes I pictured Him and I’m holding the gift of faith in my hands and He’s looking at me with a smile, I unwrap it open the box and pull it out. it’s bright shiny lightweight, it’s a crown & it’s a garment. And I put it on it feels good it smells good looks good, and it melts into me. I realize that this is going to be a lifelong journey I’m probably going to need to open and unwrap this gift many times in my life. Wow right😁😁😁 And from the meditation of the day from the Magnificat for today December 4th.
see how the death of Christ the cross, that is to say, has clothed us with the subsistent wisdom and power of God! So I had to look up the word subsistent having or proving the means of maintaining or supporting oneself especially at a minimum level 👈👈👈 especially at a minimum level pop.

I substitute (subsistent)for the words livelihood, living, nourishment and support.
See how the death of Christ, the cross, that is to say, has clothed us with the livelihood of wisdom and power of God!

See how the death of Christ, the cross, that is to say, has clothes us with the living wisdom and power of God!

See how the death of Christ, the cross, that is to say, has clothes us with the nourishment of wisdom and power of God!

See how the death of Christ, the cross, that is to say, has clothes us with the support of wisdom and power of God!

After using all those words to substitute for (subsistent) it hit me also He does all the work ( then I understood what in the definition it said ( especially at a minimum level, I am the minimum level He increase and I must decrease)I must just believe trust surrender forgive do his will every day. He will tell me His will for the day, in His word. So I went back with the scripture readings again to see what His will for the day would be. Once again do you believe that I can do this? Pop my eyes were moved back to the Psalms and this was what I said back to him I believe that I shall see the Bounty of the Lord in the land of the living I will wait for the Lord with courage I will be unafraid and determine and wait for the Lord the Lord is my light and my salvation. That’s His will for me today! Wait for the Lord with courage believe that I shall see the Bounty of the Lord in the land of the living the people around me and of course on stout-hearted I had to look up that word and I replaced it with unafraid and determine and be unafraid and determine and wait for the Lord. Sorry for this being long but I love that I get to share it with you all. Laugh out loud hopefully I didn’t overstep and do what Jesus sternly warned see that no one knows about this LoL. 😳😂😇💜. My Lord and my God you do know I am not mocking you at all for you put tons of smiles on my face right now. Cause only you know my dry humor. You all have a blessed day and thank you so much for your prayers. Keep praying for me your sister in Christ who keeps seeking which was in the Psalms today. Do you know on days like this I want to highlight everything cause everything Pops at me😁 only one thing I ask of the Lord this I seek to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life that I may Gaze on the loveliness of the Lord and contemplate His Temple: the Lord is my light and my salvation.😇

    1. Sandra, thank you for sharing your journey of faith with us. Your response to God is so beautiful. When you mentioned the gift that you were given but hadn’t unwrapped yet, my first thought was “Merry Christmas, Sandra!” As you continued and revealed the gifts you received it brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. Our God is an awesome God. God bless you as you continue to seek His wisdom and truth. 🙏✝️🙏
